Alessandro Caré (born 1992 in Ivrea, raised in Gressoney-Saint-Jean) is an Italian videomaker and photographer based in Malta.

He graduated in New Art Technologies from the Accademia Albertina in Turin in 2017, specializing in directing and photography. That same year, he produced his first documentary, “Riace: A Model of Hospitality”, and held a photo exhibition in Turin focused on immigration and the Riace experience.

Previously, he served as director of photography for the short film “Don’t Break the Earth That Loves You” (2015), winner of Best Lucano Short Film at Metropolis.

In 2018, he collaborated with an NGO in Tamil Nadu, India, supporting the rights of the Irula tribes, and in 2019, he worked in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, creating a nature documentary on elephants for the Somboon Legacy Foundation.
